History of World Cup Football-
The FIFA World Cup is an international association of football competition established in 1930. It is contested by the men's national teams of the members of Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), the sport's global governing body. The tournament has taken place every four years, except in 1942 and 1946, when the competition was cancelled due to World War II. The last Football World Cup was hosted by Brazil in 2014 which was won by Germany, who beat Argentina 1–0. World Cup 2018 was held in Russia. The tournament started on 4th June 2018 and ended on 15th Jul 2018. 32 teams participated in the world cup. Zabivaka the wolf was the mascot of 2018 world cup. France won the world cup 2018 by defeating Croatia 4-2 in the final held on 15th July 2018. This was the first time that Croatia made it to the final. France manager Didier Deschamps became only the third man to have won the World Cup as a captain and as a manager.
